Cute dwarf hamster exploring, chasing his treats and trying to eat my fingers. Dwarf hamsters are omnivorous rodents that come in several color combinations and breeds, like Campbell’s, Roborovski and Chinese. The one in this video is a Campbell’s, they have an average life span of 2.5 years and grows up to nearly 10 cm. Chinese dwarf hamsters are the largest dwarf hamster breed, as they can grow up to a wopping 12 cm, while the Roborovski is the smallest with their mere 5 cm. Dwarf hamsters are near sighted and have poor eyesight, but they are top at hearing and smelling, and use these senses to detect movement and food. They eat just about anything they come across with their sharp teeth that never stops growing during their entire lifespan
